The dip tank comes with control panel to change the temperature of the heated water to accomodate the use of different sized bags. The dip tank has a drain tap on the side to drain the machine at the end of the day for cleaning.
Dip tanks or Shrink Tanks as they sometimes called help to give a vacuum packed product a more professional finish. You would use the dip tank along side a vacuum packer, and once your product has been packed then it would be put into the dip tank. The excess plastic that is left after vacuum packing is then shrunk down using the heat of the water in the dip tank and creates a more satisfying finish to the product with no plastic flaps around the product.
